“EXPORT HELPDESK” BECOMES “EU TRADE HELPDESK – YOUR ONLINE GUIDE TO ACCESS EUROPE’S MARKET”

The European Commission’s online portal “Export Helpdesk” has changed its name into “Trade Helpdesk – your online guide to access Europe’s market”.

The portal was initially designed to inform exporters in developing countries on the EU’s rules and regulations for market access for goods and now covers all countries with whom the EU has trade agreements with.

The following new features will bring added value to the service:
1. The new name is more clear on the purpose of this portal, also for companies and agencies operating within the EU
2. The new layout and structure also displays well on mobile devices
3. The entry point to the database (search form) comes at the top of the homepage
4. We have improved the chapters “product requirements” and “rules of origin”

The new URL is www.tradehelpdesk.europa.eu (a redirect will be installed from the Export Helpdesk site www.exporthelp.europa.eu)
